Ingredients for 90 second keto bread
Butter 1 TBS
Almond flour 2 TBS
Flaxseeds meal 2 TBS
Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese 1/4 cup
1 Medium egg
Baking powder 1/4 tsp
Pinch of salt
How to prepare 90 second keto bread in a mug?
Mix the almond flour and flaxseed meal with a pinch of salt and a baking powder and set aside.
Melt the butter in the microwave safe mug.
Add the flour mix to the melted butter, mix with a spoon or fork, beat in the egg. Mix it well to avoid finding egg parts in your bread.
When mixture well combined add mozzarella and whisk everything until evenly combined.
Set it to rest for 30 seconds and bake it in the microwave for 2 minutes and 15 seconds or 135 seconds. This amount is for 3 – 4 slices of keto bread. If you divide the mixture in 3 you can bake each 90 seconds. I prefer to bake all together and slice it when it’s done.
When keto bread in mug is done, take it out from the mug and put it in a plate to chill a little bit. After few minutes you can cut the slices and eat. Slices of this 90 sec keto bread are suitable for toasting and eating as a keto sandwich, keto toast with jams, salty or sweet spreads or pate.

March 9, 2021 at 5:34 pmIs this bread texture substantial enough to make a sandwhich with it? Looking for travel ideas for a vacation where I can put the dry ingredients in a bag and get the dairy products at our destination.

July 28, 2019 at 4:07 pmCan I substitute another type of flour? I really want to try this but Iβm allergic to tree nuts.
Family On Keto
July 28, 2019 at 4:10 pmHi Kacey, if you substitute it wonβt be the same taste. But if you are not allergic, you might try sesame, pumpkin or coconut flour. Consistency will probably be good. Let me know how you made it and how was it!
