Keto meat pie is a great keto ground beef recipe with delicious keto pie crust that will satisfy all your taste buds. Nutritious and easy keto meal.
Usually, if I don't have idea what to prepare for dinner I ask my butcher to ground some fresh beef for me. Keto ground beef recipes are my secret weapon, because ground beef is so versatile and it's easy to make something delicious out of it.
That's how I made this delicious keto meat pie. I had that ground beef from my butcher and contemplated about all the great ground beef keto recipes but couldn't find anything new. Actually, I was craving for keto burek, as we call it in Balkans or keto borek, as it is called in Turkey.
My grandma was Bosnian and she was a master of the pie dough. She thought me how to make a proper pie, but she, unfortunately, wasn't a keto dough master.
So, I was searching, but my search was unsuccessful. I just couldn't find the recipe. As I was hungry, this time I didn't want to risk and do too many experiments with the keto dough so I made well known keto dough that I was using before and made this delicious keto pie with ground beef as they put it in a real Bosnian burek, borek or boreg, as it is called around the world. Only my keto pie crust is different than in original burek, but the taste was superb! My mom was delighted with this keto pie, as she was our guest for dinner.

Followed the recipe for the crust using the weights given. However the resulting dough was sopping wet, or rather it was way too greasy to roll out. I had to add more almond flour to the dough. It was very tasty crust though! Is it possible that there is an error with the weights given or the amount of butter?
Family On Keto says
Hi, I assume it's mozzarella. I use shredded and if using mozzarella ball it could have more moisture. Sometimes brand of the almond flour could make a difference. I am not sure. But, it's great that you added more almond flour, that's the best what you could do. Also, if it's greasy it's possible to roll between 2 parchment papers.

This is absolutely delicious- just had a serving, but there must be a big misprint in your macros.
The butter alone would make a serving have 200 calories. I divided mine into six servings and it was still over 400 calories.

Dear Glenda, than you for your comment. I'm glad you like it! I will check the macros, maybe there was a mistake in calculating.
