It was my obligation to share this keto brownies recipe as soon as possible, because when I have something great, I have a huge need to share it with my keto world! And this keto chocolate brownies recipe is one of my favorite.
Even if you are not keto or low carb eater, you will love this keto brownie recipe because this is the real food, full of taste, really brings you joy when eating it. I made it yesterday evening, after the delicious dinner with keto gnocchi, because I was craving for experience of full mouth of chocolate, and I had it for breakfast this morning also (those photos in the post are literally my breakfast photos). What ingredients you need to bake keto brownies?
1 cup butter (240 g/8oz) melted and cooled
Coconut oil 2 TBS (30 ml)
Powdered Xylitol 1 ΒΌ cups (260g/9oz) (or Swerve)
4 large eggs at room temperature
Almond flour 1 cup
2 TBS coconut flour
Raw dark cacao unsweetened powder Β½ cup
Pinch of salt
Vanilla extract 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Dark chocolate 150 g (5oz) chopped π«
How to make keto chocolate brownies?
Preheat oven to 180C (356F).
Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Use 16 cm x 24 cm baking tray or 6 inch x 9 inch. If you wan thinner brownies you can use bigger tray.
Melt butter with coconut oil in a double boiler or in a microwave and when cooled a little bit, add powdered xylitol and mix well. You can use another low carb sweetener but be sure to use powdered one.
Beat the eggs and add them into butter mixture.
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Gently mix dry ingredients together with butter, eggs and sweetener mixture and add vanilla and cinnamon. Don't over beat the mixture, do it gently.
Add chocolate chunks into the mixture.
Mix altogether gently and pour on the parchment paper in the baking trey.
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes on 180C or until the center of the brownies is just set to touch.
Allow keto chocolate brownies to cool to room temperature before slicing it into 20 brownies.
Enjoy it with a favorite cup of coffee or tea!
Could stay at a room temperature for few days and you can freeze them.
