Keto burger in a keto bun! Delicious beef meat transformed into a juicy keto burger patty with keto tomato sauce and other keto burger toppings!
Who doesn't like burgers? I certainly like my keto burgers and I don't have any problems to prepare them very often.
I tried so many burgers in my life on all sides of the world. 🌎 That's how I realized what kind of burger I like. First of all, I like great quality meat. 🥩 Meat has to be freshly ground. That's why as an experienced keto lifestyler you need to find your butcher shop that you are visiting regularly. I visit the same butcher all the time, and I don't like to change if it's good.
Best quality meat for every budget
When I was living in a big city, I used to try neighboring butcher shops. When I find the right one - that's it. I am loyal like a puppy.
Why is that important? Well, it's great when you establish the relationship of trust with your butcher. When they see that you are coming regularly they give you the freshest meat. You can be sure that you get the real stuff all the time. You might see, they have that glass fridge in front, but they have fresh meat supply coming from the back. I like when my butcher brings me the meat that has just arrived, from the back!
One more thing that might concern you is your budget. When you are regularly visiting "your' butcher shop you will always be informed about the discounts and actions they have. You can make a stock on sausages you like, dried meat and similar ingredients that could be even frozen for some time!
How to choose meat for the keto beef burger?
When choosing the meat for your homemade keto burgers, don't take already grounded meat. Ask them to freshly ground it for you. Let them ground it only once! Don't overground it!
Take the beef meat cuts with more fat, like combination of beef neck and ribs. I usually try to combine 70% lean meat and 30% fat. That's how your burger will be juicy and tasty. Season the meat just before you start to form the burgers, don't do it in advance. All parts have to be very fresh.
You will see in this keto burgers recipe, I put some extra ingredients in my burger, like egg and whiskey or gin. Meat is moist and juicy, and greatly stick together when you add the egg and 1 teaspoon of alcohol. And it influences the taste incredibly. I just like to add that alcohol in my ground meat for burgers, try it for yourself, it's delicious! 😋
