INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE KETO TORTILLA CHIPS
For this recipe, there are four staples that you can always find at your low-carb or average keto home: almond flour, mozzarella cheese, egg, and salt. Additionally, you can add some optional spices like pepper, paprika, powdered garlic, etc.
This is all you need to make the most wonderful, crunchy, and perfectly golden homemade keto nacho chips.
HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE KETO TORTILLA CHIPS
- Mix almond flour, salt, and shredded mozzarella cheese in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes. For me works the best 1:30 min.
- Remove from the microwave and form the dough with a spoon, spatula, or with your hands.
- Add egg and knead the dough until the egg is completely combined with the dough.
- Place the dough on parchment paper and roll it very thin. As thinner as possible. PRO TIP: If the dough is sticky, take 1 teaspoon of olive oil and distribute it on top of the dough and roll.
- Cut the dough with a pizza cutter or with a knife into triangles or shapes you like.
- Place chips on parchment paper with space between the pieces. Bake for 10 - 20 min at 190 C or 375 F or until golden brown.
- When keto nacho chips are baked, leave them to cool completely to crisp up.
